Narrative Description of the Project:

The Upper Lapche Khola Hydropower Project (ULKHP) is a run-of-river hydropower project proposed along the Lapche khola in Dolakha District, of Janakpur Zone. The project area lies within Lamabagar Village Development Committees (VDC). Energy Venture (P.) Limited (EVPL) holds the survey license for this project. The project is located about 32km upstream from the under construction 456MW Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project.
