Jade Consult participated in the Nepal Tunneling Conference 2022 as one of the sponsors, with the theme of “Design and Construction of Underground Structures for Infrastructure Development” organized by the Nepal Tunnelling Association.

The Conference was a great opportunity to learn more about the project experiences in Nepal regarding site investigations, design, construction techniques, instrumentation, monitoring and contractual practices, and analysis of critical problems, alternative design, construction techniques, and safety & recent developments of the tunnelling industry.

Jade Consult is glad to be a part of the International Conference Series of Nepal Geotechnical Society, organized by Nepal Geotechnical Society. The conference was held at Hotel Radisson, Kathmandu on 16 – 17 March 2023. The main objective of the conference was to create a pool of minds for enhancing geotechnical engineering practices in Asia.

Gaurab Singh Thapa, Geotechnical Engineer at Jade Consult presented an interesting analytical study titled “The Effect of Non-persistent Rock Joint with Various Rock Bridge Intensity and Configuration on Shear Behavior Using Direct Shear Test on PFC3D”.

Jade Consult participated in the Sales Communication Training organized by National Training and Research Academy at Aranya Boutique Hotel, Kathmandu.

It was a good opportunity for us to enhance our knowledge on various aspects of commercial communication covering a wide range of topics like Business commercial mindset, Rapport establishment, Needs analysis, Understanding the concept of Unique Selling propositions, Pitching techniques, and Advanced communicating strategies.

A glimpse of the Power Summit 2023. Jade Consult is one of the sponsors of this flagship event of the Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal (IPPAN)  held on the 18th and 19th of April 2023 under the theme of “Broadening Green Energy Markets”.

We are delighted to share that Jade Consult has been selected by Sita Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd. to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) service for Nyasim Khola Hydropower Project (35 MW) located in Sindhupalchowk District, Nepal.

We are excited to be a part of this project and we look forward to contribute our expertise and experience to the success of the project.

The Joint Venture of Full Bright Consultancy Pvt. Ltd, Jade Consult Pvt. Ltd. and Paragon Engineering Consultancy & Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (FBC-JADE-PARAGON JV) have been selected by the Department of Roads, Quality Research and Development Center (QRDC) to conduct the Feasibility Study of Tathali-Rabiopi Road Tunnel in Bhaktapur District, Nepal. The approximate length of the road tunnel is 7.6 Km.

Recently, China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corp. Ltd. was awarded a contract for Narayanghat-Butwal Highway lot I and II of the South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation Road Reconstruction Project. The contract amount of the two lots amounts to about NPR 17 billion, or about USD 150 million.

The total length of the project is 113 km, and it is intended to upgrade the existing two-lane road to a two-way, four-lane road. The construction period under the contract is 42 months, and the employer is the National Highway Bureau of Nepal. The project is the largest infrastructure project in Nepal in recent years.
